Scorpions 4-2 Victors Over Seattle
|
The Death Valley Scorpions locked up a win at Cari Price Memorial Stadium, knocking off the Seattle Sea Serpents, 4-2. On the mound for Death Valley was right-hander Guy Roussy. He played a major role in the triumph. Bandit Keith closed it out for Death Valley, earning his 4th save. Death Valley is now 16-9, Seattle 21-4.
The Scorpions got a big at-bat from first baseman Launch Angle. For the game, Angle was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Death Valley a 2-1 lead.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Roussy.
