Seattle got a first-rate effort from pitcher Ivy de Vries, who frustrated Cancun hitters en route to a 2-1 Sea Serpents triumph at The Aquadome. In 7.1 innings, de Vries surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. The loss puts Cancun at 0-3.
