The Buffalo Surge faced a tough opponent in San Antonio pitcher Johnny Tatum, but found a way to pull out the victory at The Treehouse by a final score of 6-3 in 10 innings. Tatum went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Buffalo reliever Paj Bobba picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. William Nilliam was tagged with the loss. Nina Alexejeva, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save.

D.W. Dogmaple came through with a big-time hit for Buffalo. The left fielder smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 6-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Our team found a way to get it done," said Dogmaple.
