Detroit Dealt 8-0 Defeat
|
The Seattle Sea Serpents defeated the Detroit Demons, 8-0, in part because of left fielder Gator McGraw. McGraw was 2-3 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Sea Serpents. Seattle starter Mejiro McQueen was credited with the win after throwing 111 pitches over 8 innings. His record now stands at 5-2. Seattle, with the win, climbs to 9-17.
Bradley Wellerman Jr. had a big 2-run home run for the Sea Serpents in the top of the first inning. With Seattle leading 2-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a fastball from Goaty McGoatFace, who finished 2nd in the Champions in wins with 15 in 2076, and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Sea Serpents on top, 4-0.
