The Buffalo Surge topped the Vancouver Vandals, 7-4, with third baseman D.W. Dogmaple playing a big role. Dogmaple went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 5 for the Surge in the win. Picking up the save was Paj Bobba, his 4th. The Surge go to 11-16 with the win.

Athens, Georgia native D.W. Dogmaple had a clutch at-bat in the top of the eighth for the Surge. With Buffalo trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Surge manager .
