Stars Fall Short, 5-4, at Indianapolis

The Indianapolis Apex defeated the Nashville Stars, 5-4, at The Brickyard. Indianapolis third baseman Chauncey Ingram had a superb performance. He went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Flop Quads picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Kenny DeNunez suffered the loss. The win gives Indianapolis a season record of 14-14.
Indianapolis center fielder Enderman helped the Apex go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Enderman hit a run-scoring single off Nashville pitcher Kenny DeNunez.
