The Indianapolis Apex grabbed a win, 9-6, over the Detroit Demons at Demon's Lair at Laser Park. Indianapolis first baseman Kerry Keli went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. Flop Quads earned the save, his 4th. The loss makes Detroit 14-14.

Brent Goldberg, who led the Champions in batting average with .326 last year, helped out the Indianapolis cause in the top of the first inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 4 with a walk.

"We got the victory," said Goldberg. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
