The San Antonio Sloths topped the Vancouver Vandals, 9-3, at The Treehouse. San Antonio center fielder Jerry Mander was a spark plug for the offense. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. San Antonio is now 9-20, while Vancouver is 20-9.

Press Duckley Jr. had a big bases-clearing double for the Sloths in the bottom of the fifth inning. With San Antonio leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a circle change from Holly Sheet, who finished 3rd in the Legends in strikeouts with 201 last year, and swatted a double to center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Sloths ahead, 5-1.

San Antonio manager commended his team for "putting the pedal to the metal."
