Dogmaple Excels, But Crabs Win
D.W. Dogmaple had a good game, but he could not keep the Buffalo Surge from falling, 12-6, to the Providence Crabs at The Pot. The Buffalo third baseman hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice in the loss. Providence has run its win streak to 4 in a row.

JD Pants had a big bases-clearing double for the Crabs in the bottom of the third inning. With Providence leading 4-1 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Juicy Jumbo, who is tied for 6th in the Legends in quality starts with 5, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Crabs ahead, 7-1.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Providence manager .
