The Seattle Sea Serpents beat the Death Valley Scorpions by a score of 8-5. Seattle shortstop Bradley Wellerman Jr. deserved the lion's share of the credit. Wellerman Jr. was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs for the Sea Serpents. Kip Treadwell picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0.
