Behind a fine performance from Green-Chilaquil Phan, the Death Valley Scorpions knocked off the Seattle Sea Serpents, 13-2. Phan went 4-5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 4 for the Scorpions. The victory puts Death Valley at 11-19.

Phan had a key at-bat for Death Valley in the top of the second. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and gave Death Valley an early 2-0 lead.
