Indianapolis Apex starter Romeo McFlourish turned in an exceptional performance against the Cancun Toros at The Brickyard, resulting in a Indianapolis win, 3-1. Picking up the save was 25-year old right-handed pitcher Takeda Takahashi. With the win over Cancun, the Apex improved to 16-15.

McFlourish was effective for Indianapolis, seldom allowing the Toros to square up a pitch. The right-hander tossed 109 pitches over 7 innings. He limited Cancun to just 1 run on 4 hits.

"Romeo set the tone with his ability to attack the hitters," said Indianapolis manager .
