Surge Win by Slim Margin, 7-6

The Buffalo Surge topped the Toronto Pathfinders, 7-6, in 10 innings at The Lodge. The game was highlighted by the performance of Buffalo left fielder D.W. Dogmaple. Buffalo reliever Akio de Los Santos was the winner. His record is now 2-4. Swingand Amiss took the loss. Paj Bobba got credit for the save for Buffalo. It was his 4th of the year.
The game was at a stalemate until catcher Emidas Blair came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Toronto pitcher Swingand Amiss, he hit a first pitch curveball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Buffalo on top, 7-6.
In postgame comments, Dogmaple said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
With the win, the Surge are 11-21.
