Aviators Take Down Pathfinders, 8-2
|
The 2077 season is going from bad to worse for Toronto.
Aviators shortstop Abe Ghosty put his stamp on his team's 8-2 win over the Toronto Pathfinders. Ghosty was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for Outer Banks in the contest. Jiggs Kingman got credit for the win, improving to 6-1. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 5.2 innings.
Outer Banks took the lead, 5-2, on Curtis Jones's 8th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Toronto pitcher Bodhi Grizz in the bottom of the seventh.
Toronto manager , after yet another defeat, said: "Just different when you have that swimming feeling in your cranium. It's difficult to focus."
The 'W' lifts Outer Banks's record to 16-16.
