Vancouver center fielder Steven Strange contributed significantly to his team's 10-3 win over the Outer Banks Aviators. Strange, who is a three-time Gold Glove Award winner, went 3 for 4 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Vandals. Thor Lore, the winning pitcher, improved to 3-2. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 3 hits and 1 run, while striking out 8 and walking 2. Vancouver has an impressive 22-10 record.
Danny Burgers, who is tied for 9th in the Legends with a .924 OPS, chipped in a 2-run home run for Vancouver in the bottom of the second. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 3 runs batted in.
