Shan 5-for-5 Against Sea Serpents
|
At Demon's Lair at Laser Park, Revan Shan of the Detroit Demons put on a hitting clinic. He banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and mauled the Seattle Sea Serpents pitching staff, but Detroit still came up short on the scoreboard.
The Demons went home with the 6-5 loss, in spite of a standout 5-hit performance from their center fielder.
"Hey, it's great to get that many hits in a game, but it would have been nice to win the game, too," Shan said in the postgame interview.
Revan Shan singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
So far this year, Shan has hit .331 with 3 home runs, 17 RBIs and 29 runs scored.
