Vandals Drop Voyagers, 4-1

Vancouver and New York duked it out and the Vandals came out victorious.
Vancouver pitcher Andy Beans did his part in helping his team defeat the New York Voyagers, 4-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Vancouver reliever Alejandro Abasi snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Joey Moose Jr. shouldered the loss.
Vancouver used the timely hitting of Ashton Lansdell to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Vandals on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said Beans. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset."
The Vandals, now 4-0, have been playing some good baseball.
