Demons Earn Clutch Win, 2-1
|
Starting pitcher Remy Lebeau gave the Detroit Demons a rock-solid effort. The Los Angeles, California native helped his team defeat the New Orleans Rougarous, 2-1, at Demon's Lair at Laser Park. The win went to Thorne Belfour in relief, making him now 2-1. Stu Macher took the loss for New Orleans. With the victory, the Demons record stands at 17-16.
Jordan Love had a productive trip to the plate with no one out in the bottom of the fifth inning. With the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly, helping Detroit to the win.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Love.
