Zalewski goes 3-for-4 in Providence Win
|
Not everyone stuck through the 72-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.
Paulo Zalewski made an impact in the 7-3 Providence win over San Antonio. Zalewski went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. The win was credited to 26-year old left-handed pitcher Nathanael Abel in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Cybernetically Enhanced RoboDibble took the loss.
Zalewski had a game-changing double in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-2 cutter from Cybernetically Enhanced RoboDibble, he banged a 2-run double to center, giving the Crabs a 5-3 lead. It was the 11th double of the year for Zalewski.
"This team's hitting on all cylinders," said Crabs manager .
The winning continues for Providence, with the latest triumph making it 8 straight.
