Cancun and San Antonio duked it out and the Toros came out victorious.

The San Antonio Sloths got a superb performance from center fielder Jerry Mander, but the Cancun Toros still won the game, 6-3. Mander went 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs. Roquefort Cotswald collected save number 3.

The Sloths had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Toros going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old center fielder Gnome Child came to the plate. Child hit a run-scoring double on a 1-0 circle change from San Antonio hurler Leonidas Longpipe. It was Child's 10th double of the year.

"Solid performance from our side," said Toros manager .

Cancun is now 23-14, while San Antonio is 13-24.
