Surge Win in Glorious Fashion, 2-1
|
Buffalo got a first-rate effort from pitcher Colby Koffman, who frustrated Vancouver hitters en route to a 2-1 Surge triumph at The Power House. Lucas Winnolito earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record is now 4-0. Buffalo leads the Legends Conference East by 4½ games.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Buffalo center fielder Damien Thriller, facing M4XX V3L0, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Surge the 2-1 win.
"We squandered some opportunities," said Vancouver manager .
