Voyagers Deal Vandals 7-4 Loss
|
New York third baseman Nolan Tegge was a significant contributor in his team's 7-4 triumph over the Vancouver Vandals. He went 4-5 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk for New York. Ransom Jones recorded his 3rd save for New York. With the win over Vancouver, the Voyagers improved to 19-19.
New York used the timely hitting of Summuh Dog to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Voyagers on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I felt good up there," said Tegge. "I saw the ball well."
