Thanks in large part to third baseman Brent Goldberg, the Indianapolis Apex beat the Cancun Toros, 4-3. Goldberg went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Biggus Tittious Smittious picked up the win with 8 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 8. On the season, he is now 2-2. With the win, Indianapolis upped its record to 19-19.

Goldberg had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a full count circle change from Roquefort Cotswald, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Apex a 4-2 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Goldberg.
