Wheelers Lose, 7-6, in 13
Crowds lined up early in front of The Jose Forty-Three Stadium, eagerly awaiting the start of the 2074 Minor League PBE season. On the mound was Scud Muffin for the visiting Anchorage Wheelers and Joseph Mathys Hendry for the hometown Chicago Kingpins. In a spirited contest, the Kingpins pulled out the win, defeating the Wheelers by the score of 7-6. Especially impressive was Monstar.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the 13th, an error by the Wheelers allowed the Kingpins to score the winning run.

Loc said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
