Kirkland Leads Hepcats to 12-5 Win Over Armadillos
The Kansas City Hepcats got their 2075 season off and running with a win over the Amarillo Armadillos at Center for Kansas City Kids That Can't Read Good. The final score was 12-5. Kansas City third baseman Joe Kirkland, in particular, had a fine performance.

In the bottom of the fourth, Kansas City left fielder Red Panda had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Panda stroked a run-scoring single to right-center. It made the score 3-1, Kansas City. For the game, he went 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk.
