Hepcats Hope Opening Day Win Bodes Well for Season
Fans of the Kansas City Hepcats who packed the stands for the home opener were rewarded with a Kansas City win over the visiting Puerto Rico Ranas, 5-2. Toby Ziegler started for the home team against Batting Practice. Feka Ohi Kau earned accolades for his performance.

Kau came through for Kansas City with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the second. He hit a 2-0 sinker to right field, staking his team to a 5-1 lead.

"We've got great fans," said Kau. "I hope they got what they came for."
