The State College Swift Steeds ushered in the 2078 season with a win versus the Kansas City Hepcats at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0. The final score was 2-1. Starting Pitcher Froggy Dubois had a standout performance.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when State College catcher Dusty Backstop, facing Poe Poe, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Swift Steeds the 2-1 win.

"This place was rocking at the end," Backstop said.
