Kingpins Rally Late to Nip Bears
Fans of the Chicago Kingpins who packed the stands for the home opener were rewarded with a Chicago win over the visiting Brew City Bears, 3-2. Avery Time started for the home team against Aoife Carter. Aoife Carter earned accolades for his performance. The winner was Marcus DaWorm in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Real Games took the loss.

Sweet Sweet Ganjasmoke was the walk-off hero for Chicago. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Kingpins right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Chicago manager .
