Bears 5-3 Victors Over Florida

Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the Florida Flamingos home opener. Animal Kingdom started for the home team against Jack Dupp for the Brew City Bears. The Flamingos were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 5-3, Brew City. Jimmy Lumber, though, was impressive. Brew City pitcher Jack Dupp earned the win, hiking his record to 1-0. Animal Kingdom suffered the loss.
Brew City used the hitting of Jared Keeso to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bears on top, 5-1. For the game, Keeso had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We take it day by day here," said Keeso, "and today was a good one for us."
