Flamingos Pull Out Late-Game Win, 5-4
|
Gator McGraw led the charge as the Florida Flamingos defeated the Chicago Kingpins, 5-4, in 15 innings at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. McGraw, who is rated as the 80th best prospect by BNN, was 6-6 with a double, 5 singles, and 2 walks. The win puts Florida at 1-1.
Florida needed the clutch hitting of Brianna Rose Sabor to notch the win. The catcher hammered a solo home run in the top of the 15th inning to put the Flamingos on top, 5-4. For the game, Sabor had 1 home run and 2 singles in 8 at-bats.
"This game tested our mettle," said Sabor.
