Swift Steeds Pull Off Thrilling 8-4 Win in Extras
The State College Swift Steeds beat the Amarillo Armadillos, 8-4, in 11 innings. State College designated hitter Bazooka Slow, in particular, had a fine performance. He hit 2 home runs. He scored 4 times and drove in 2. The winner in relief was Scott Justice. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. Amarillo drops to 1-1.
