In a low-scoring contest between the Brew City Bears and the Anchorage Wheelers, 20-year old right-handed pitcher Zaxby Chan proved to be the difference. The Brew City right-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-1 Bears win. The loss has the Wheelers at 0-3.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 12th, 21-year old center fielder Career Minor Leaguer had a chance to be the hero. Anchorage pitcher Greg Buse had other ideas. But with one out, Minor Leaguer hit a sacrifice fly. The Bears had themselves a dramatic win.

Brew City manager called it "a good, solid win."
