The Chicago Kingpins defeated the Amarillo Armadillos, 6-5, at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. Chicago shortstop Dave Babipperson had a superb performance. He was 4-7 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The loss drops Amarillo to 2-2.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 14th inning, when Chicago designated hitter Boots Poffenberger, facing Serina Elmer [BOT], had a run-scoring ground out. It gave the Kingpins the 6-5 win.

In postgame comments, Poffenberger said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
