Firehawks Come Up Short at Florida, 3-2
|
Florida pitcher Reid Johnson did his part in helping his team beat the California Firehawks, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Pord Larquad [BOT] wrapped it up, recording his 1st save. At 3-1, the Flamingos have played well so far.
Brianna Rose Sabor, who is rated as the 13th best prospect by BNN, helped out the Florida cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the catcher went 1-4.
"Good teams find a way to win close games," Johnson said.
