The Chicago Kingpins had to overcome a big game from Amarillo designated hitter Da Minion DA GOAT to leave The Jose Forty-Three Stadium with a victory. And they did, winning, 7-4. DA GOAT was 2-3 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The win puts Chicago at 4-1.

Boots Poffenberger aided the Chicago cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the designated hitter went 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
