Bears Get Thrilling 8-7 Win
In a tight contest at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House, the Brew City Bears edged the Louisville Lemurs by the score of 8-7 in 12 innings. Brew City first baseman J.B. Rainier, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Brew City reliever Smokey Schlitz [BOT] was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Colby Renslow. With the loss, Louisville drops to 2-3.

The Bears got a clutch hit from right fielder Jared Keeso. In the bottom of the 12th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Bears.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Keeso.
