Hepcats Topple Ranas, 4-3, as Justice Shines
Kansas City first baseman A.J. Justice made his presence felt in the 4-3 Hepcats triumph over the Puerto Rico Ranas. Justice went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Kansas City reliever Kanye West picked up the win to move to 1-1. Jerry Berry suffered the loss. Puerto Rico is now 2-3.

The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Justice delivered big-time for Kansas City, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Jerry Berry. The game-changing hit put the Hepcats on top, 2-1.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Justice told the Kansas City Observer.
