The State College Swift Steeds extended their winning streak.
The State College Swift Steeds locked up a win at Florida Man Park, knocking off the Florida Flamingos, 10-5. On the mound for State College was right-hander Mann Person. He played a major role in the triumph. The winner was Person. He threw 8.0 innings of 2-hit ball. The loser was Doc Rock.
State College used the hitting of Dusty Backstop to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the first inning to put the Swift Steeds on top, 5-0. For the game, Backstop had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
