The Amarillo Armadillos took State College pitcher Mad Dog's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium. The final score had Amarillo getting past the Swift Steeds , 4-3. Dog went 6 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 3. After losing, State College is 4-2.
Walter Walterson drew 1 walk in 6 plate appearances for Amarillo.
