The Brew City Bears spoiled a good performance by Amarillo third baseman Gary Love, bumping off Amarillo, 5-3, at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites. Love was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. With the win, Brew City is 4-2.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Srevor Tory? The 24-year old first baseman Tory stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put Brew City up, 3-2. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.
