The home crowd had a good time watching the Amarillo Armadillos and Puerto Rico Ranas get after it.

Red Panda was a major contributor to the 4-2 Puerto Rico win over Amarillo. The Ranas right fielder went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and a walk. Picking up the win was Marc Jackson. He went 6.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 9 hits. The left--hander struck out 1 and walked 4. Punish Vandals [BOT] earned the save for Puerto Rico, his 1st of the year.

El Grande Mexicano helped out the Puerto Rico cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the third baseman went 1 for 3 with a walk.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Panda said.

With the win, Puerto Rico lifts its record to 4-2.
