The Brew City Bears thumped the Puerto Rico Ranas, 12-1, at Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium. Tony Soprano was a big reason his team got the win. Soprano was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Brew City goes to 4-2.

Tater MacCheesy had a big 3-run home run for the Bears in the top of the seventh inning. With Brew City leading 3-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he sized up a cutter from 31-year old right-handed pitcher Harry Berry [BOT] and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Bears on top, 6-0.

"If you don't take any pitches off, you've got a chance to impact the game, and that's what we did," said Brew City skipper .
