Florida and State College duked it out and the Flamingos came out victorious.

The Florida Flamingos picked up a win at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0, topping the State College Swift Steeds , 5-2. On the mound for Florida was left-hander Myles Tremonti. He played a principal role in the triumph. Tremonti picked up the win for Florida, going 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 1-1. Earning his 1st save of the year was Junior O'Callaghan.

Florida used a clutch at-bat from Darius Maxwell to capture the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Flamingos ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Maxwell told the Florida Herald.

The loss drops State College to 4-3.
