Getting offensive support from Commander Warsmoke, the Amarillo Armadillos topped the Brew City Bears, 6-4. Warsmoke went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Armadillos. Chatty Johnson earned the save for Amarillo, his 2nd of the year. With the win, Amarillo goes to 4-3.

Amarillo took a 5-4 lead on Sand Shrew's 4th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Shrew hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Brew City pitcher Bryce Wheeler shaking his head.
