The California Firehawks topped the Louisville Lemurs, 9-8, with catcher Roman Nickalus playing a big role. Nickalus was 3-5 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Firehawks in the win. The win went to Yong-woo Jun in relief, making him now 1-0.
