Kansas City and Anchorage got after it at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo.

The Kansas City Hepcats topped the Anchorage Wheelers, 8-0, the lion's share of the credit going to catcher Jacopo Reddick. On the day, Reddick went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times for the Hepcats. Elijah Miller picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 5 in 6.2 innings.

Kansas City used the hitting of Joe Kirkland to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Hepcats on top, 6-0. For the game, Kirkland had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
