The Buffalo Surge converted a terrific effort from starter J.C. Swishman into a win over the San Antonio Sloths at The Power House. The Surge won the game by a final score of 6-1. Swishman, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 2 walks.

D.W. Dogmaple had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the third for Buffalo. With the bases loaded and the Surge leading 1-0, he hit a sacrifice fly.

"Solid game, solid win tonight," said a smiling Swishman.

The win puts Buffalo at 5-0.
