Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Brew City Bears and California Firehawks.

The timely hitting of Joseph Kelley helped the Brew City Bears down the California Firehawks, 11-3. Kelley was 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Bears. With the loss, California drops to 5-3.

Videl Valor III had a big bases-clearing triple for the Bears in the top of the second inning. With Brew City leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from 20-year old right-handed pitcher David Sears and swatted a triple to right. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bears ahead, 5-1.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Kelley told the Brew City Chronicle.
