The Amarillo Armadillos defeated the California Firehawks, 7-3, at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. Amarillo center fielder Axel Babineaux had a superb performance. He was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 3 times. Marsh Mellow Jr. got credit for the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed 3 runs on 8 hits in 5 innings. California, with the loss, is still a robust 7-2.
