Lemurs Collect 13-11 Win Over Armadillos
The Louisville Lemurs needed 10 innings to defeat the Amarillo Armadillos, 13-11, at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle. Louisville right fielder Samuel Sheeping had a superb performance. He went 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5. Reliever Golden King picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Curve Beckham [BOT] took the loss. The Lemurs, now 8-1, have stormed out of the gates.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the tenth. With Louisville trailing 11-9, Sheeping jumped on a sinker from 20-year old left-handed pitcher Curve Beckham [BOT] and hit a grand slam home run to left. With one swing, the Lemurs had a walk-off win.

"This place was rockin'," Sheeping said.
