The California Firehawks defeated the Louisville Lemurs, 8-4, at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. Leading the charge for California was shortstop Goro Majima. He was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI. Louisville drops to 2-7.

Had Iain-James Crichton not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Crichton hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Firehawks.
