Armadillos Lose to Kingpins in Walk-Off
The Chicago Kingpins picked up a win at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium, topping the Amarillo Armadillos, 3-1. On the mound for Chicago was right-hander Jackson Pollock V. He played a principal role in the triumph. Chicago reliever Bodhi Grizz picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Tayalamp Battalemo was tagged with the loss. The loss lowers the Amarillo record to 3-6.

Chicago got a knockout punch from Boots Poffenberger. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"Every loss hurts," said Amarillo manager . "But this was a tough one."
