Amarillo left fielder Ben Martin played a vital role in his team's 11-6 conquest of Puerto Rico. He went 3-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for Amarillo. The win was credited to 24-year old right-handed pitcher Carroll Niedfeldt in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Jean Girard [BOT] took the loss. The loss has the Ranas at 0-9.
