Fans who congregated at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House were treated to extra-inning drama.

The Chicago Kingpins battled the Brew City Bears into extra innings before the outcome was decided. The Kingpins won it, finally, 5-4, in 10 innings. In the game, Chicago left fielder Sparky Dee was 5-5 with 5 singles. The winner was Marcus DaWorm in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Smokey Schlitz [BOT] took the loss.

Toby Rodrigo helped out the Chicago cause in the top of the eighth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the pinch hitter drew 1 walk.

"Our team showed some spunk," said Rodrigo.

Brew City, with the loss, is still a stout 7-3.
