Jay Dub did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Anchorage Wheelers from losing, 6-3, to the Brew City Bears at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. Dub was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. James Noble picked up the save, his 1st. The Bears, now 7-3, have hit the ground running this season.

Livingston Tweedlecock drew 1 walk for Brew City. The 22-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With no one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Leegull Iztampuring. It was his 3rd RBI of the season.
