Bears Roll Over Armadillos, 9-4
|
With center fielder Tonk Mato leading the charge, the Brew City Bears defeated the Amarillo Armadillos, 9-4, at The Tap House. Mato went 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. The loss lowers the Amarillo record to 4-6.
With Brew City leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Mato hit a fastball from Aria Bluesky for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Bears ahead, 5-0.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Mato said.
