Wet weather did not postpone the Brew City-California ballgame.
The Brew City Bears downed the California Firehawks, 8-1, at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. Srevor Tory led the way, going 4-for-5 for Brew City. Real Games earned save number 2 this season.
With Brew City leading 2-1 in the top of the sixth, Tory hit a screwball from Ima DudeMan for a solo home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Bears ahead, 3-1.
"We were firing on all cylinders," said Bears manager .
The Firehawks drop to 5-5 and continue their mediocre start to the 2077 season.
