Flamingos Suffer 8-2 Road Loss
|
The Amarillo Armadillos beat the Florida Flamingos, 8-2, at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites. The win was due in part to second baseman Marcus Otatop, who was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Florida, with the loss, is still a robust 8-2.
With Amarillo leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Otatop hit a cutter from Stetson Mixon for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Armadillos ahead, 5-2.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Otatop.
