Hepcats Win, 5-3, at Chicago
|
The Jose Forty-Three Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Chicago Kingpins and Kansas City Hepcats.
Gnome Child was a major contributor to the 5-3 Kansas City win over Chicago. The Hepcats third baseman went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. With the win, Kansas City elevates its record to 7-4.
Kansas City used the bat of Cason Warwick to capture the win. The designated hitter jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Hepcats ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"I really like what we did out there today," Child said after the game.
