Firehawks Rally to Nose Past State College
The Firehawks faced a stiff challenge from State College pitcher Derek Kirkland, but persevered to claim a win at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. The final score was 2-1. Kirkland went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 run. With their winning streak at 6, the Firehawks have raced to a strong start this season.

The Firehawks got a clutch hit from second baseman Willard Bachmann. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Firehawks.
