Hughes Helps Amarillo Cruise to 10-3 Win
Behind the hitting of Sidney Hughes, the Amarillo Armadillos stopped the Brew City Bears, 10-3. Hughes went 4-4 with 4 singles and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Armadillos. UNUNUN AWOOOOOOORXT, now 1-0, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 2 and walking 1. With their winning streak at 4, the Armadillos have raced to a strong start this season.

Amarillo used the timely hitting of Walter Walterson to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Armadillos ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a big one.
