Hepcats Shut Out Ranas, 5-0
|
Joe Getz left his imprint on the 5-0 Kansas City win against the Puerto Rico Ranas. Getz went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Kansas City reliever Jose Jakob Jingleheimer Schmidt picked up the win, while Ribbit Ribbit took the loss for Puerto Rico. The win gives the Hepcats a record of 7-4.
Getz had a key at-bat for Kansas City early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and gave Kansas City an early 2-0 lead.
"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Getz.
