Flamingos Deal Armadillos 6-2 Loss
|
Flamingos shortstop Ejecto Seato left his mark on his team's 6-2 win over the Amarillo Armadillos. Seato was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for Florida in the contest. The winning pitcher was Moe Mentum. He's now 1-0. He went 7.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits for the Flamingos. With the loss, Amarillo is 4-7.
With Florida leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Seato hit a run-scoring single off Amarillo hurler Tom E. Jahns. It was the 13th hit of the season for Seato and put his team ahead, 3-1.
