State College 5-2 Losers to Flamingos
|
The Florida Flamingos topped the State College Swift Steeds , 5-2, in Minor League PBE action at Florida Man Park. The standout performance belonged to Florida pitcher and Nome, Alaska, native Moe Mentum. The Flamingos raised their record to 7-4.
In the bottom of the first inning, third baseman Bobby Briggs had a 3-run home run for Florida. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Flamingos on top, 3-0.
